In an CAS array scenario we cannot be certain as to which CAS server we are connected to as the request is catered by CAS array
There is a way by which we can find the CAS NETBiOS name from where the request is catered from: -
Open Outlook Web Access if its working :-) and Click on “?” and then click “About”
The window will show you a lot of information, including a field called “Exchange Client Access server name” that will tell you the CAS array node name which you are connected to.
This can help in many ways wherein you are troubleshooting CAS array issues, and can let you concentrate on a single node first and then moving on.
